Text Support for RTL Languages

MyPost Adds Support For The Right-to-Left Languages

In order to accommodate and acclimate the entire world to using MyPost, we feel it is important to include the support for the Right-To-Left languages, which are Arabic, Hebrew, N'ko, Syriac, Thaana, Tifinar, and Urdu.

The language will automatically be detected as you start typing and the location of the cursor and text will move accordingly. Please note that if you are in a mix of a LTR and RTL language, one may win over the other.

This change affects:

  • Headline
  • Description
  • Password
  • Custom MyPost URL
  • Content
  • Notes

  • This is also on the condition that your browser supports Right-To-Left. If you write in any language that is Left-To-Right, you will probably not notice any change at all. This also only affects the means of writing, meaning that the changes you see in the editor will not show like that on a post. You will need to use CSS to make the page appear as if it is Right-To-Left.

    You can do this by adding this code in the SHOW ADVANCED OPTIONS area under Custom CSS:
    article { text-align: right; }
