Understanding the Journey
HOW THE JOURNEY BEGINS
Consumers take into account many factors and considerations before making a nal selection on a service and/or product. Through our Consumer Journey Survey distributed by Nielsen, the Council of Better Business. Bureaus (BBB) has determined how BBB in uences consumers’ purchase decisions. In collecting and analyzing this qualitative and quantitative information, we are better able to understand what factors have an impact on buying behavior and where BBB falls within this journey.
Who have we taken this journey with? The Consumer Journey Survey was conducted in October 2014 and included about 1,000 respondents in the United States. The sample was selected from a national frame of household members 18 years of age
or older. Respondents were recruited via the Internet using a custom email invitation which contained a live link to the survey.
